Now What?

Now What?
Yesterday, I wrote about the awareness of God and how we (human beings) possess a natural longing for a higher power. I also mentioned how we often seek this deity at times of crisis and sadness. Through this higher power, we search for understanding, protection, and healing. We do not always seek God first. Many times we exhaust our more familiar, local resources however unsuccessful or unhelpful. It is not, for some of us, until we reach the end of our rope or rock bottom that we become vulnerable to the presence, power, and the occurrence of the Almighty God.
With this achieved, I have to ask the question, NOW WHAT? Now that you’ve found God, or should I say, you have found yourself before God; Now What? Are we talking about a relationship, a continued connection? Or have we become caught up in a heated spiritual moment brought on by a sporadic chaotic situation? At the conclusion of our dilemma, when indications of peace are visible, is God abruptly dismissed from our minds and hearts until next time? But, the bigger question is; Can God be dismissed? Can we return to a state of spiritual indifference?
