The Tragedy

The situation at Virginia Tech was indeed a tragedy. At this time many are seeking answers to questions such as; Could this have been avoided, stopped, forseen? Looking back, everyone has an opinion or suggestion of what should have been done, could have been done. But what do you do when something like this happens during your shift, administration, watch?

I believe that the biggest tragedy, amongst all the vigils of solidarity, is that we seek to assign blame on others; the president of the school, the administration, the campus security,South Korea.

But in all honesty, is there anybody to blame? Or does the blaming game afford us the priveledge of continued indifference?

If so, this would be the real Tragedy.
